Listening to Ho`olohe Hou Radio and I’m nearly tearing. Many of these songs aren’t sung, played, or heard anymore. Hats off to Mr. Bill Wynne for preserving the old music of Hawai`i. My advice? Get your tūtū, mama, papa, or elder a laptop or tablet to be used only for listening to Ho`olohe Hou Radio and let them listen all day to the music of old and new Hawai`i. Support this radio station and its purpose – preserving the Hawaiian music of yesterday. I am loving it!

It’s too important not to succeed. Your unconditional love and support of Hawaiian music and its artists should be acknowledged by everyone involved in Hawaiian music – from the artists, producers, and archivists all the way down to the fans. Nothing but positive things have been the result of your efforts to promote Hawaiian music and keep its history alive. Hawaiian music is vibrant, alive, and full of history. It is only enhanced by your lifelong interest and desire to share.

What an awesome concept! Mahalo nui for supporting our music and for doing such awesome work to keep Hawaiian music alive. We hope the best for your station.

I look forward to what comes on this front - hopeful that Hawaiian music finds a new niche.

I love this old music. For me it evokes memories of all da `ohana cleaning house and da yard on Saturday mornings. I hated it at the time, but now when I hear this precious music I remember a time when we were all together, under one roof, alive and well, and Mom and Dad were still alive. Funding this project was a “no brainer” for me.

So happy for and proud of YOU! Mahalo for all you do for Hawaiian music!

When I think of the beauty of Hawai`i — my ancestors, traditions and culture — I think about all the elders of my family sitting in my home sharing stories, thoughts, genealogical history, Hawaiian values and loving on all the children in the room. I liken that to the collection Bill presents because it is what is familiar to me — comforting, spiritually stimulating. When I listen to the voices of his collection that have passed from this world, I feel they send back their mana`o.

Keep it up with restoring these gems of music history. I appreciate all that you do to support Hawaiian music.

If you’re not listening, you don’t know what you’re missing.

Bill has a connection with Hawai`i, and he has a genuine love to keep our music alive on the airwaves. For Hawaiians the word "connection" is of high importance. We are connected to our people, ancestors, traditions, culture and, most of all our language. I call a gentleman like Bill "`ohana." Another highly prized word.

Bill’s programs have an amazing magnetic pull that while listening draws you into an era of yesteryear never to be forgotten. Mahalo, Bill, for all that you do in preserving the past of Genoa Keawe.

I think what you are doing and have invested in for such a long time is an awesome concept. Most of all, I thank you for your love for preserving our “oldies but goodies” Hawaiian music.

When I was on the air staff of the old KCCN-AM years ago, this is what we played. My favorite kind of tunes to this day. I really like what you’re doing.

As far as what you are doing with Ho`olohe Hou Radio… It is ******* PRICELESS! There is no money in the entire world that could pay for your 24-hour radio station with informative vignettes. DO NOT EVEN QUESTION THE VALUE OR WORTH OF THIS PROJECT.
